COR audition notice 2017-2018 Season
Capitol Opera Richmond will be holding auditions for their 2017-2018 season. Events we will be casting are:
Collaborative project with Firehouse Theatre -- “To Damascus”, a new opera. “To Damascus” will be a world premiere from Richmond composer, Walter Braxton.
Jewel box La Boheme: multiple performances in varying venues.
Magic Flute Storytime at Richmond Public Library
Preview of new opera for fall at Gellman Room
Science Museum of VA "brown bag lunch" performance
Mozart Festival
...as well as other concert and recital opportunities around Richmond
For the auditions, please prepare (3) arias:
English aria from 20/21st century 
Aria in any language from Baroque
Aria in any language from Classical or Romantic 
*** (There is a $10 accompanist fee)
Auditions will be held 1-5pm September 9, 2025 in the choir room of Grace & Holy Trinity Episcopal Church (8 N Laurel St, Richmond, VA 23220. Entrance via the rear door by the parking lot.). To schedule an audition, please email [email protected]
